On August 17, I hunted for a second time in local park near me. The first hunt (on August 13) turned up all modern Lincoln cents, a lot of junk, and a relic, which I cannot identify and will post a picture of later. Perhaps somebody out there will be able to identify it for me.
Well, the second hunt was about the same. I turned up 5 modern Lincoln cents, and a lot of metal junk. The most interesting of this junk, which I saved, was what appeared to be an old wheel, which most likely came off of a baby carriage.
I'll be hitting this park again sometime soon, and then possibly moving on. I am attempting to find out if a house was once on the land which this section of the park occupies.
